Do you know of any extremely low cost car insurance for cars?

Please dont say companies like Geico, progressive, etc. i am looking for something that I have not looked at already- that maybe someone on here has experience with. i live in NJ, but that really doesnt matter when shopping for auto insurance.

well, geico and progressive are possibly the cheepest companies, but do remember, your not just insuring your car, but yourself too.

The best price depends on a lot of factors. Where you live, how you use the car (commuting, business or just "pleasure" use), and how old you are and if you are married or not. And the state does matter, some companies won't write insurance in New Jersey, because they think there are too many accidents in that state. Also, are you looking to just get the legally required minimum policy or do you want good coverage? That makes a difference too.

Be careful with what company you choose because a cheap, little known company may not be able to pay up in the case of a major accident.

Typically, insurance rates will vary from State to State and can even vary by ZIPCODE! It also will depend on the type of car/truck, coverages, limits of liability, and driving record. SOme companies run credit scorees and MOST run a motor vehicel report and CLUE (Comprehensive Loss Underwriting Exchange) report to see about undisclosed accident involvement. The best thing to do is call a LOCAL independent agent. Don't go across town, or to some other city - look for someone CLOSE. Just look in the phone book for the PIA or Big I (Trusted Choice) logos and you will find a professional licensed agent that will be able to help you solve your insurance problems, and give you rate comparisons of several different companies. You have another source in NJ, the NJ Auto Agents Alliance. These guys SPECIALIZE in auto insurance and it wasn't THAT long ago, auto insurance was almost non-existant at an affordable price for ANYONE - but due to the efforts of the NJAAA, things have changed! An independent insurance agent will normally have a dozen different companies and if he cannot help you, he should be networked with other local agents that can. Most of the replies on this site say "go to this on-line carrier or that on-line carrier or that 1-800 number" but I'm sure that when you do, you will find some impersonal computer user with a script to work from and you won't be able to talk with the same person every time you have a problem!Good luck, drive RESPONSIBLY and I hope this helpsSource(s):Insurance agent for 27+ years

none whose policies are worth the paper they're written on. The terms and conditions of the policy are more important than the price-cheap policies obstruct payouts-they have to, or they'd go broke.

Where you live DOES matter when buying insurance. You live in an area with higher than average insurance rates -- from all insurance companies. There are no "discount" insurance companies, as such. All companies base their rates on the about same factors. Therefore there is not a huge difference in rates between companies. If there is, you're not getting something the higher-rate companies have.

Is there a company that allows you to deliver/drive a car from Montreal to Vancouver?
Yes, what you're talking about is indeed called a "driveaway." You usually have to apply to drive a car -- they'll look at your insurance record, your driving history, your age etc -- and then they'll try and match you with someone who needs their car moved to where you're going (or thereabouts...

Why are there so few auto insurance companies in Massachusetts?
I remember many years ago (late '70s) when I was applying to M.I.T., the material they sent me said that MA had the highest rate of car theft in the nation. I don't know if that's still the case after more than 25 years, but if so, that could cause there to be few insurance companies there...

I just signed the settlement paperwork for an auto claim I had. How long will it take to receive the check?
Ask your lawyer because it's gonna take awhile. FIRST they have to get the check. THEN they have to play with the medical bills and short change your doctors/health insurance company, THEN they have to pay those kick backs to the doctors in on the scam, THEN they have to make sure they have...

What is the average car insurance premium in Mississauga, Canada?
No one has ever figured that out because it would be a useless figure to the individual. If I told you it was $200 per month, what exactly would you do with that figure? Insurance is rated individually, not on an average. Kanetix is a terrible website, especially considering your situation...
