Do you think Montana Governor Schweitzer is doing a good job?

The USDA says it is ok to ask food stamp applicants the reason for going on food stamps. Gov Schweitzer will not allow this in Montana, even privately funded. We need to know how many are on food stamps due to the mandatory auto insurance and other laws. This data is required by law to be included in the fiscal note law and since Governor Schweitzer will not allow this researched,I think he is committing obstruction of justice. Do you think he is doing a good job?

Ben

I think he's doing a fine job. He's protecting our privacy and is unwilling to be bullied by insurance lobbyists. He's keeping the government out of our business. They don't really need to know why people are on food stamps. If some other law requires it, that law is wrong.Obstruction of Justice? Is he really preventing the police from punishing a criminal?Montana is one of the last few states with strong privacy laws. I'm ecstatic that Schweitzer is willing to put his neck out in order to protect those laws.
