How do I find an attorney that is licensed in two states?

I was in an auto accident in CT, but am returning to MI where I live I lived here for nine months and CT was the address for my auto insurance, so I was told by a MI lawyer that I would need to hire a CT lawyer or a MI lawyer who is also licensed in CT

You can contact the Bar Association in your state and request information for a reference on a lawyer with dual certifications licensed to practice in both states, and as the lawyer you consulted indicated, it would probably be more financially prudent to get a lawyer that practices only in CT.

Look online for a lawyer referral service. Most towns have them. They will find a law firm that has the requirements you need.I wish you well.
