I have an interview tomorrow. Are the horror stories I am hearing about working for Wells Fargo true?

It seems that the Wells Fargo branch in my town is always hiring tellers. I'-m concerned by that and the online forums with 31 pages of horror stories about working for this company. Anyone had any personal experience?

Matt

YES! I currently came over with the Wachovia merger and Wells Fargo is nothing short of awful. The successful employees are the ones that can "sell" Wells Fargo products and services. Doing what is right for the customer is garbage. If the customer does not have everything with Wells Fargo (checking, savings, credit card, debit card, auto insurance, home insurance, identity theft protection, auto loan, mortgage...) then you have to "get them there." Service is secondary. Wells Fargo is cheap, pays poorly and puts me under pressure that I never signed up for. I am diligently seeking alternative employment. I have been happy working for Wachovia for over 3 years but 6 months under the Wells Fargo merger has been absolutely awful. Being a teller isn't a bad job, try another bank though.Source(s):Current employee
