I have been a licensed 2-20 Insurance Agent for a year now. I’m currently looking for auto insurance companies that are appointing in Florida. You will have to shop around as you do.Get a quote from insurers you get from yellow pages or from the web.

Unless you have a proven, profitable, existing book of six figures you can roll over, you're not likely to get an appointment for a standard auto carrier in FL.The PROBLEM is, most auto carriers also write homeowners - and they don't want to write new homeowners in FL.If there's ONE more company I would recommend, it would be Leader Infinity. But I'm not positive that they write in Florida.
