What is 21st Century Auto Insurance's coverage for letting a friend borrow your car?

I have 21st century auto insurance and i saw the commercial about how they extend your coverage to anyone you let drive your car. I was wondering how that worked, what are the requirements?Because if that is the case then, one wouldn'-t need to buy any insurance for their children for example.

You will have to add any licensed driver that lives in your household to your policy. Be careful when you let someone borrow your car. There is an very good resource I woll put below on what can happen to the car owner.Source(s):http://www.nationwidebillrelief.com/blog…

You have to pay for it. It's additional coverage. You have to have coverage for every driver of the vehicle. That would include children. When a child reaches the legal age and obtains their license, the parent adds them to their policy and pays for it.

what you have to do is contact the insurance guy and tell him you want that plan and ta give ya a quote.it has to be specified and get the guy to give you a simple coverage explanation and in writing permission to put in the car that expressly lets all licensed drivers to operate your vehicle and have a permision slip from you in the car with said drivers name on it.

How much should I expect to pay for auto insurance in Ontario?
Hello,It does depend on your location: in some areas of Toronto it is $400 per month!!! But take a more remote location, you'll be better off with $150-160. Quote of $46/mo does not sound right... not for Ontario anyway...Good luck!Source(s):http://find-a-driving-school.ca/

Do I have to show proof of ownership of a car to get car insurance online?
You don't need to show proof of ownership (but if you're doing it for a friend who owns/uses it, they should be a listed driver). A VIN usually helps determine the symbol for the car (replacement cost -- needed to calculate comp and collision). But you'll do better finding a local independent...
