What is the base minimum of insurance required in Colorado?

I know that we need liability insurance, but is there a minimum on other types of insurance? Specifically, house insurance, RV insurance and boat insurance. Oh, and motorcycle insurance. Thanks.

Auto liability, and workers compensation.Any vehicle on a public roadway or public water is required to carry liability. Any employer is required to carry workers compensation. Besides that, everything is voluntary. So, there's no law that says you have to carry homeowners insurance. HOWEVER. If you want to borrow money to BUY that home, your LENDER will require it, and you'll agree to carry it, or you won't get the loan.

As a Colorado driver, you must have at least $25,000 in individual bodily injury liability insurance in place. This type of insurance pays for the medical expenses of a person injured in an automobile accident where you are considered the at-fault driver. Your policy must also have a cap of at least $50,000 to pay the medical bills for two or more people injured in the same accident. The property damage liability portion of your policy pays for damage caused to objects, such as the other driver's vehicle, a mailbox, a fence, or a shed. The minimum level of coverage required by law in CO is $15,000.Source(s):http://www.core-media.org/

For ANY vehicle, yes you MUST have liability in case you damages someone elses property. As for the house that is up to you, but NOT having it would be the dumbest move you could make. One broken bone by a neighborhood kid and you can kiss your house goodbye!
