Will AAA of southern Ca raise my insurance rates for a no-fault accident?

I have AAA of southern california auto insurance. While my car was parked in a parking lot, a vehicle hit and damaged the front end of my car and then left (I was not present at the time of the accident). Will it raise my insurance rates to report this accident and then have the damages repaired?

John

And you parked your car there did'nt you put that car in that space where it would get dammage. Comprensive covers the damage and rates will go up. No such thing as no fault the car owner will always pay.Source(s):Nissan Master Technician

If your not at fault you should not worry. But insurance can go up for what ever.

In general, there is usually no action taken for non-fault losses. Reporting a claim does not affect your rates.Source(s):claims person

In most cases no...if this is your first or only claim. It also depends on the amount of damage and how much it costs to repair it. Either way I'd have them fix it...thats what you pay insurance for. Think of how much you have spent on insurance since you have been driving...they probably owe you one fix anyway.

Unfortunately, insurance companies can raise your rights at any time. In my fifteen years of driving, I've been in several accidents, none of which were my fault and my rates never were raised. My wife was just in an accident that was her fault. George

Why does my auto insurance want me to go to a certified shop?
There are several reasons, most likely:1. The shop has adequate insurance, and has filed proof of it with the insurance company2. The shop has agreed to work with the adjusters, so that you don't ever end up paying more of your claim than your deductible3. The shop can accept direct payments...

Will a speeding ticket affect my insurance rates?
No one will ever know that you got a speeding ticket if you take traffic school. Also, you should research your rights before you plead guilty. I would try to contest the ticket first, and if that fails, bargain with the judge for a reduction in fines and traffic school for pleading guilty...
